Biography
Through Fall of 2007, I headed the Chicago office of Virilion, a DC-based interactive agency that works with many of the world's leading corporations, associations, non-profit and government entities.
My Internet career began after spending several years in corporate communications environments, directing advertising, public relations and promotional activities. In 1996, I joined association management firm Smith, Bucklin & Associates, where I helped developed the company's fledgling interactive team and managed the development of over 30 association web sites.
In 1999, I joined PR agency Golin/Harris International, where I was responsible for directing all of the agency's Internet projects. While at Golin/Harris, I led teams that developed web sites and Internet related products and services for clients including DaimlerChrysler, Bayer Aspirin and Energizer.
After leaving Golin/Harris, I spent three years as an independent contractor assisting clients with web site design, development and strategy work. I then joined advertising agency Noble-BBDS as Director of Interactive Services & Strategy, where I developed and implemented online marketing strategies for clients that focused on using technology to build brand awareness.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Arts in Advertising from the University of Texas.
