Emulsion Transfers
Emulsion transfers are made by lifting the image from a Polaroid print that has already been fully developed and dried. The very delicate image is then transfered to another material. The emulsion may be stretched, wrinked and torn for effect, and may be transferred to flat or 3-dimensional surfaces.
Gallery coming soon. Below is a piece that was created on a piece of wood; the wood was painted and 3 emulsions were transferred to the surface.
